City of Midland

The City of Midland was established in 1887 and is about 35 sq. miles. Midland uses council-manager government to work with businesses and help the economy grow.

Midland Townships

Sixteen townships make up Midland county: Warren, Edenville, Hope, Mills, Geneva, Jerome, Lincoln, Larkin, Greendale, Lee, Homer, Midland, Jasper, Porter, Mount Haley and Ingersoll.
 
 

County of Midland

Midland County was organized in 1850 and now includes 16 townships, the City of Midland, the City of Coleman and the Village of Sanford.

The Midland Area Chamber of Commerce, the leading voice of business, offers advocacy, professional development, networking and more for member businesses. 

Michigan Works!

Michigan Works! fosters high-quality employment and training programs serving employers and workers by providing support activities and a forum for information exchange for Michigan's workforce development system. 
 

Michigan Economic Development Corporation

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), a partnership between the state and local communities, promotes smart economic growth by developing strategies and providing services to create and retain good jobs and a high quality of life. Midland Tomorrow is an interlocal partner of the MEDC.
 
   

Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center

Midland Tomorrow is a satellite office for the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center, Region 5, a network that provides a full range of services for emerging and growing small businesses throughout Michigan - new venture companies, existing small businesses, expanding businesses, new technology companies and innovators. All services are available at low or no cost because of the support of the U.S. Small Business Administration and local partners.
 

North Coast Technology Investors

North Coast, a Midland venture capital firm, is committed to forging lasting partnerships. Midland Tomorrow works closely with North Coast Technology Investors to bring new business and new ideas to the Midland market.
 

Midland Downtown Development Authority

Midland Tomorrow partners closely with the Downtown Development Authority on several initiatives to bring economic investment to Midland, including applications for Michigan Cool Cities grants.
 

Central Michigan Research Alliance

The Central Michigan Research Alliance (CMRA) is a regional affiliation that links the technology resources and opportunities of Central Michigan University (CMU), CMU Research Corporation, Midland Tomorrow, Michigan Molecular Institute (MMI), Middle Michigan Development Corporation, Saginaw Future Inc. and Saginaw Valley State University.

MEDA provides educational programs to both members and non-members in a variety of different areas specific to economic development. From environmental issues and marketing to how technology affects economic development, MEDA provides the answers.
 

Great Lakes Bay Region

The Great Lakes Bay alliance was created "to encourage a regional environment that is supportive of business, economic development and education, which will promote an efficient and effective local and regional community that maintains a quality of life sufficient to attract and retain individuals and companies to the region."
